Eureka Lithium

“The second quarter of 2023 has been a period of phenomenal growth for Eureka Lithium, and that speaks volumes with regard to our dedicated team. We raised more than $7 million and became the largest lithium-focused landholder in the top third of all of Quebec, targeting game-changing new hard rock lithium discoveries in an emerging hotspot for Canadian exploration. We have also quickly and efficiently maneuvered our crews into Nunavik for the start of an intense field program leading to drilling this summer. With that kind of progress over just a couple of months, imagine what we can accomplish through the balance of 2023. ”

Shawn Ryan

Shawn is Canada’s most famous prospector. He grew up in Timmins, Ontario, and began his career in exploration in the early 80’s working with Kidd Creek Mine’s geophysics team and various other contracting firms. He moved to the Yukon in 1990 and settled in Dawson City. In 1996, after perfecting the art of mushroom picking, he decided to try his luck as a gold prospector. He initially focused his attention on the Dawson District, searching for the source of all the alluvial gold in that area. Success came quickly for Shawn as he was named Yukon Chamber of Mines Prospector-of-the-Year in 1998. His unique soil sampling techniques would ultimately lead him to the discovery of multiple significant gold deposits including the prolific Coffee discovery acquired by Goldcorp in 2016 when the major bought out Kaminak Gold for $520 million. Shawn turned his attention to Newfoundland in 2015 and was instrumental in the island’s Gold Rush that started in 2021 and continues today. Extensive research led him to pursue lithium for the first time in his career, starting in under-explored Nunavik.
